Islamabad Capital Police launches ‘Knock the Door’ campaign for enhanced security

The primary objective of this campaign is to ensure a safer environment for the residents of the federal capital.

Islamabad, 12 September, 2023 (GNP): In a proactive move to bolster security and maintain law and order, the Islamabad Capital Police has initiated the ‘Knock the Door’ campaign.

Dedicated police teams are actively canvassing neighborhoods, going door-to-door, and ensuring the registration of both tenants and domestic workers.

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Islamabad has already made significant progress, registering data for 178 house servants across 592 houses within Sumbal Police Station’s jurisdiction in just the last 24 hours.

The primary objective of this campaign is crystal clear: to ensure a safer environment for the residents of the federal capital. By registering tenants and domestic workers, we not only improve monitoring capabilities but also act as a powerful deterrent to potential wrongdoers.
