Islamabad, 25 October, 2023(GNP): Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, welcomed a delegation from the Iran Union of Automobile Spare Parts Manufacturers & Sellers at the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran today.
The 22-member delegation from Iran is currently in Pakistan, marking the inaugural organized visit by representatives from the Iranian auto parts industry to Pakistan.
Syed Ahmed Hosseini, the Chairman of the Union, expressed his appreciation to the Ambassador, emphasizing that this long-anticipated visit will facilitate stronger business ties between the private sectors of these two friendly nations.
The delegation’s purpose in Pakistan is to attend to various matters. The “Pakistan Auto Show 2023,” scheduled to take place in Karachi from October 27th to 29th, 2023, was a prominent topic of discussion during the meeting.

The Ambassador outlined Pakistan’s favorable investment climate and encouraged the delegation to explore collaborative ventures with Pakistani companies.
He expressed optimism that the visit of the Iranian delegation would lead to increased exports of Pakistani auto parts to Iran, the importation of more cost-effective replacements from Iran, and the establishment of technology-oriented joint ventures between the two nations.
The Ambassador also pledged the full support of the Embassy of Pakistan in Tehran to ensure the success and productivity of this inaugural visit to Pakistan.
Notable attendees included Mr. Afshin Asgharzadeh, the Secretary General of the Union, along with Dr. Reza Mallaki, Mr. Hamidreza Khakbaz, Mr. Amir Reza Baqalian, and Dr. Amir Husain, Trade & Investment Counsellor.
