Government cuts down petrol price by Rs. 5 per liter

The federal government cut down prices of fuel making them Rs. 267 per liter.

Islamabad, 1 March 2023 (GNP): In a press conference, Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister of Pakistan, stated that the price of fuel would remain at Rs. 280 per liter till the next review.

He stated in a press conference: “The price of light diesel oil has been reduced by Rs. 12 per liter to Rs.184.68 per liter. On the other hand, the price of kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs. 15 per liter to Rs. 187.73 per liter.”

The changes will be put into effect today at 12 a.m. and lasting until March 15.

The Government of Pakistan Finance Division issued the new prices. Pakistan State Oil Company updated their prices as well.
