Islamabad (GNP): The Global Business Alliance (GBA) Pakistan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Hubei Enterprise International Cooperation Association to strengthen economic and industrial cooperation between the two regions.
The MoU was signed by Muhammad Asif Noor, Chairman of the Global Business Alliance, and Huang Lixia, Executive President and Secretary-General of the Hubei association.
The agreement aims to promote business-to-business linkages, trade and investment between enterprises of Hubei Province and Pakistan, while supporting companies from both sides in jointly exploring international markets.
Under the agreement, both organisations will focus on economic and trade matchmaking, organising enterprise mutual visits, business inspections and online and offline matchmaking sessions, alongside the sharing of investment project and trade demand information.
The partnership also covers industry collaboration across sectors including agricultural technology, manufacturing, infrastructure, construction engineering, mining, medical and pharmaceutical industries, the digital economy, culture and tourism, education, and clean energy.
Both sides will additionally exchange trade and investment policies, laws and regulations and market dynamics, while providing on-the-ground support services for enterprises from both countries.
The agreement further includes plans for capacity building through entrepreneur training and technical talent exchange programmes, with both organisations sharing training resources and expert networks.
To support day-to-day coordination, the Global Business Alliance has designated its International Affairs Department, while the Hubei association has designated its International Exchange Centre, as the liaison windows for the partnership.

Both sides also agreed to exchange economic and trade information through official channels and to jointly build a China-Pakistan Enterprise Cooperation Project database, alongside organising joint participation in international forums and exhibitions.
The MoU marks a step towards deepening Pakistan-Hubei economic ties, with both organisations describing the partnership as an opportunity to create new avenues for sustainable growth and mutual prosperity.
