Islamabad, 31 January 2023 (GNP): Avatar: The Way of Water has maintained its dominance at the box office and is now the fourth-highest-grossing movie of all time. The movie debuted in theatres on December 16 and is a continuation of James Cameron’s original 2009 hit movie Avatar, which is still the all-time highest-grossing film ever globally.
Although the Movie had a less-than-expected opening weekend, it still had a much stronger opening weekend than the first movie, which served as the beginning of a record-breaking run that saw it pass $2 billion and, just two days ago, unseat Avengers: Infinity War as the fifth-best movie of all time.

“Avatar: Way of the Water” has accumulated a worldwide total of $2.075 billion today. The movie shows no signs of slowing down. By surpassing Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens’ 2015 gross of $2.071 billion, it has now surpassed that film to become the fourth-highest-grossing film of all time.
This information was released while the movie was getting ready for another weekend at the box office, where it is likely to win for the seventh weekend in a row due to the absence of fresh broad releases.
