Asian Development Bank commit $140 million for KPK Roads Improvement Project

Islamabad, 14 March,2024 (GNP): The Asian Development Bank  has pledged a substantial investment of US $140 million towards the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Roads Improvement Project.

This initiative aims to enhance the connectivity, safety, and resilience of the road network in the KP province, thereby fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for residents.

The funding agreement was formalized in a signing ceremony attended by representatives from Asian Development Bank and the Government of Pakistan.

Under this agreement, the Asian Development Bank will support the rehabilitation and upgrade of key road infrastructure in KPK, including the construction of new roads, bridges, and related facilities.

The project will prioritize areas with high traffic volume and strategic importance, aiming to enhance transportation efficiency and reduce travel time.
