Pakistan Rejects Indian Allegations, Cites Jadhav Case

Islamabad (GNP): Pakistan has strongly rejected allegations made by India’s Home Minister attempting to link Pakistan with certain arrests in India, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs calling the claims a continuation of what it described as a malicious Indian campaign against Islamabad.

Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi made the remarks in response to media queries on the matter.

Andrabi said such allegations were intended to divert attention from India’s own domestic security challenges and to serve narrow political objectives at home.

He characterised India as a repressive state that he said brutally suppresses its minorities and silences dissent domestically, while externally, he alleged, it exports terror and abets terrorist activity in the region.

Building on this, the spokesperson said unfounded Indian insinuations could not divert international attention away from what Pakistan describes as India’s state-sponsored terrorism, targeted assassinations, and subversion carried out in foreign territories.

He said Pakistan has repeatedly shared evidence of Indian involvement in terrorism and destabilising activities on its soil, pointing specifically to the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav, a convicted and serving Indian naval commander, as what he called undeniable proof of India’s direct involvement in subversion and terrorism inside Pakistan.

Concluding the statement, Andrabi urged the international community to reject what he termed baseless Indian allegations and to hold India accountable for its alleged state-sponsored terrorism in the region.
