Islamabad : Vice President of the Pakistan Peoples Party and Senator Sherry Rehman has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Pakistan national hockey team for defeating Japan in the semifinal of the World Cup Qualifying Round and securing qualification for the Hockey World Cup.
Senator Sherry Rehman said the Pakistan team has remained unbeaten throughout the tournament and displayed outstanding performance. She appreciated the young players for delivering remarkable results despite limited resources and bringing pride to the entire nation.
She noted that the national team achieved an important victory in the semifinal through discipline, hard work, and excellent teamwork. Senator Rehman also praised the team’s remarkable comeback after going two goals down, calling it a reflection of the players’ determination and resilience.
