Ramadan teaches us patience, tolerance, and sacrifice, Speaker

Islamabad : Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has extended heartfelt greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah and to nation.He stated that Ramadan is a month of Allah Almighty’s infinite blessings and mercy.”This sacred month provides Muslims with a golden opportunity for spiritual purification, self-accountability, and attaining closeness to Allah Almighty,” he added.

He said that this holy month practically teaches patience, discipline, tolerance, and empathy for the needy. Fasting promotes piety, compassion, and a sense of responsibility within individuals, encouraging them to contribute to the betterment of society along with self-reform.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has stated that Ramadan conveys the message of self-accountability, ending mutual differences, promoting forgiveness and tolerance, and strengthening social harmony. He emphasized that special attention should be paid to both individual and collective reform during this blessed month to help build an organized, civilized, and welfare-oriented society. He added that Ramadan is a month of sacrifice, generosity, and caring for the underprivileged. Affluent individuals should generously assist the needy, orphans, widows, and deserving families to promote equality, brotherhood, and social justice in society. He said that providing relief to the poor and vulnerable segments of society through joint efforts of the government, welfare organizations, and philanthropists is a collective responsibility.

The Speaker appealed to the public to demonstrate patience, tolerance, and harmony during Ramadan, avoid hoarding and profiteering, and play a positive role in ensuring the availability of essential commodities at reasonable prices. He stated that this sacred month teaches us to adhere to the principles of honesty, justice, transparency, and collective welfare.

He prayed that Allah Almighty may grant Pakistan peace, stability, and prosperity, blesses us with unity and harmony, and grants mutual solidarity and cohesion to the Muslim Ummah.

Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah on the arrival of Ramadan.He stated that the commencement of the blessed and luminous moments of Ramadan is a joyful occasion for the Muslim Ummah. He said that the sacred moments of Ramadan serve as a means of salvation from hell and reflect Allah Almighty’s special mercy and blessings.

Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah stated that the month of Ramadan teaches us to adopt noble qualities such as piety, patience, gratitude, sacrifice, and devotion. He said that the month of fasting provides a golden opportunity for character building, spiritual purification, and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah Almighty. He added that by helping and serving the needy during Ramadan, we can attain the pleasure of Allah Almighty. This sacred month teaches us to adopt noble human values such as social justice, brotherhood, mutual respect, and service to humanity.

He further stated that Ramadan teaches us sincerity, honesty, tolerance, and avoidance of hatred and prejudice in our words and actions along with devotion to worship. He stressed that every individual should promote unity and play a positive role in the progress and prosperity of the country and nation.

He also appealed to remember Palestinian and Kashmiri brothers and sisters in special prayers during the blessed moments of Ramadan. The Deputy Speaker prayed that Allah Almighty grants us the ability to fully benefit from the blessings and mercy of this sacred month and elevates the ranks of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the security of the homeland. He also prayed for peace, security, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan.
