
Islamabad :- A meeting held between Dr. Shezra Mansab, State Minister for Climate Change, and the envoy of British High Commissioner, Jane Marriott CMG OBE to discuss the Green Compact, review the progress of the already signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and explore further cooperation on climate-related initiatives across various sectors, with a particular focus on the green transition.
The discussion highlighted opportunities to strengthen bilateral collaboration in areas such as renewable energy, climate resilience, environmental protection, capacity building, and the adoption of innovative technologies to support sustainable development. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the green transition and promoting initiatives that contribute to climate action and low-carbon development.

This engagement reflects the shared determination of Pakistan and the United Kingdom to work together under the Green Compact framework to foster sustainable growth and enhance cooperation on climate-related challenges.
