
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister
Islamabad : Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, received Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN in New York, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar, at MoFA.
Ambassador Asim briefed the DPM/FM on the Pakistan Mission’s engagements in New York, particularly at the UNSC and other UN organs. He also highlighted the Mission’s continued and sustained efforts to project Pakistan’s key foreign policy priorities at multilateral fora, including Jammu and Kashmir and the Palestinian cause.
The DPM/FM underscored the significance of the UN and multilateral institutions in achieving global peace, security, and economic development.
