Sunbeams Marks Annual Sports Gala, Celebrating 1,000 Young Athletes

Islamabad – Sunbeams proudly concluded its Annual Sports Gala 2025, held at the Baseball Ground, Sports Complex. The event brought together 30 Sunbeams schools and over 1000 energetic children, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with joy, sportsmanship, and unforgettable memories.

The Sports Gala turned out to be a heart-warming celebration where children from remote and underprivileged communities got the chance to shine, compete, and showcase their hidden talents. From enthusiastic races to team sports and lively cheering sections, the event was a powerful reminder of the confidence and happiness that emerge when children are given equal opportunities.

Parents, supporters, and guests witnessed moments that reflected the true spirit of Sunbeams resilience, hope, and the belief that quality education and joyful learning can transform lives. For many students, this event became a milestone: their first time performing on a large field, hearing applause for their efforts, and feeling celebrated for who they are.

“This Sports Gala was more than a series of games it was a celebration of dreams,” the Sunbeams team shared. “Each child who stepped onto the field reminded us why our mission matters. Their smiles, courage, and excitement inspire us to keep expanding access to education and co-curricular opportunities.”

Sunbeams extended heartfelt gratitude to S&P Global and all supporters whose generosity and encouragement made the event possible.

“Watching our children run, laugh, and compete today reminded us why Sunbeams exists to give every child, regardless of their background, the chance to feel seen, valued, and celebrated. Their joy is our greatest success.”
