FC thwarts suicide attack on Peshawar HQ

EARLY MORNING ATTACK ON PARAMILITARY HQ IN PESHAWAR SHOCKS CITY, MAJOR DISASTER AVERTED

Peshawar : Three suicide bombers killed in two explosions. Three constabulary fatalities confirmed by authorities.
Frontier Constabulary successfully foiled a suicidal terrorist attack on its headquarters in Saddar area of Peshawar this morning.
On 24 November 2025 at 8:10 AM, an attack on the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar was reported and subsequently prevented by security personnel.

The capital city police officer Dr. Mian Saeed confirmed that the incident took place shortly after 8 AM, “two explosions occurred at the FC Headquarters: one at the main gate and another near the motorcycle stand inside the premises. He stated that two attackers were killed in an exchange of fire, and a clearance operation was ongoing.”

Officials said there were three individuals carried out the attack. One detonated an explosive device at the main gate, while the other two entered the compound. Security personnel engaged them inside the headquarters, resulting in the deaths of both. All three attackers were confirmed deceased.

Deputy Commandant FC Javed Iqbal confirmed that three FC personnel lost their lives during the incident. He added that the security staff responded immediately and prevented the attackers from advancing further.

Hospital sources reported that five people were injured, including two FC personnel and three civilians. All injured individuals were transported to a hospital, where they are receiving medical care and are in stable condition.

Security officials have secured the area, and a clearance operation continues.

Affiliates of the Jamatul Ahrar claimed that they had carried out the suicide bombings in Peshawar, but there were no official claims till the filing of this report.
