Islamabad (GNP): Wafi Energy Emergency Response Drill 2026 was successfully conducted by Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited in collaboration with the National Highway Motorway Police, Rescue 1122, Frontier Works Organization, ATS, and Nestle Pakistan at the Motorway.
The mega drill brought together emergency response teams, transport partners, and government agencies to test preparedness, coordination, and response capabilities in the event of a road transportation emergency.
The drill simulated multiple real world incident scenarios, covering firefighting, medical emergency response, spill containment, product retrieval, vehicle recovery, and traffic management.
Participating organizations evaluated emergency procedures, communication protocols, resource mobilization, and inter agency collaboration to ensure they can respond safely and effectively under real conditions.
Muhammad Owais Sultan, Director Manufacturing and Distribution at Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, said that safety remains the company’s main priority. He described the drill as a reflection of Wafi Energy’s commitment to continuously strengthening preparedness and response capabilities through collaboration with partners.
He added that exercises like these help test systems, improve coordination, and ensure teams are ready to respond in challenging situations.
Imran Shahid, Deputy Inspector General of NHMP, witnessed the exercise and praised the collaborative efforts on display. He said emergency preparedness is most effective when organizations work together with a shared commitment to safety.
He encouraged more such initiatives to strengthen emergency management and road safety across Pakistan.

Senior representatives from Rasch Private Limited, Fakhr e Khushab Transport Company, Badshah Transport Company, and M. Abbas Logistics also attended the drill, showing a shared commitment to road safety and operational excellence. Through this initiative, Wafi Energy Pakistan reaffirmed its dedication to promoting a strong safety culture and supporting safer transportation practices across the country.
