Islamabad (GNP): National Heritage and Literary Heritage will cooperate in the protection and promotion of cultural heritage in Pakistan. These views were expressed by Inaamullah Khan, Federal Secretary, National History and Literary Heritage Division, in a meeting with Patricia McPhillips new Director/Representative UNESCO Islamabad.
In a meeting held today in the office of the Secretary, NH&LH Division, UNESCO team leader Patricia McPhillips briefed the Secretary about the activities implemented by UNESCO in protection and promotion of culture.
Possibilities were discussed to work together to safeguard the Intangible Cultural Heritage of various parts of Pakistan. She added.
Inaamullah Khan, said that National History and Literary Heritage Division is working to preserve the national heritage and steps are being taken in this regard.
اسلام آباد () پاکستان میں ثقافتی ورثہ کے تحفظ اور فروغ میں قومی تاریخ و ادبی ورثہ ہر ممکن تعاون کرے گا۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار اسلام آباد میں وفاقی سیکرٹری، قومی تاریخ و ادبی ورثہ ڈویڑن، انعام اللہ خان نے اسلام آباد میں یونیسکو کی ڈائریکٹر اورنمائندہ پیٹریسیا میک فلپس کی سربراہی میں یونیسکو کی ٹیم سے ملاقات میں کیا۔وفاقی سیکرٹری کے دفتر میں آج ایک ملاقات میں پیٹریسیا میک فلپس نے وفاقی سیکرٹری، قومی تاریخ و ادبی ورثہ ڈویژن کو یونیسکو کی ثقافت کے تحفظ اور فروغ کے لئے نافذ سرگرمیوں کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا۔ملاقات میں پاکستان کے مختلف حصوں کے غیر منطقی ثقافتی ورثہ کی حفاظت کے لئے مل کر کام کرنے کے امکانات پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ انعام اللہ خان نے کہا کہ قومی تاریخ و ادبی ورثہ ڈویڑن، قومی ورثہ کے تحفظ کے لیے کوشاں ہے اور اس سلسلے میں احسن اقدامات کیے جارہے ہیں۔ ثقافتی ورثہ اور وفود کے تبادلے کے سلسلے میں ہونے والے معاہدے پر ڈویژن کارروائی کرے گا۔
