Lockdowns have played havoc with everyone’s sustenance. The economy is vanishing down. Some countries are efficacious and powerful enough in both disease-fighting and digital economy preparedness. Morosely our country could not respond quickly if slackened rules result in a spike in cases, so we encountered a very long lockdown in succession to circumvent a burden on health care amenities. Our populace is not very supportive and not ready to comply.
We will now be returning to something resembling pre-COVID life after a strict and lengthy lockdown. Educational institutes would resume in an unspecified step-by-step process reviving from next month, tourism, restaurants and cafes cinemas, theatres, professional sport is allowed behind closed doors and should be socially distanced, along with amateur sport under guidelines, gyms, marriage halls, spas, business centers, Mazars crosswise the country all set to open from next week. We will be getting a taste of normal life after months of corona virus confinements. Some reopening states are already claiming triumph over the corona virus. But the real outcomes won’t be clear for weeks. For now, daily cases are roughly stable in most cities of Pakistan—though whether that’s a sign of fewer epidemic or a side effect of testing rates persists to be seen. More erudition is now surfacing about what might be the most important factor in evading an immediate second spike in cases if the country reverts to some degree of normalcy. When Science looked at reopening artifices from South Africa to Finland to Saudi Arabia, some encouraging patterns developed. Few of the states reopened and two weeks after reopening, none of them has undergone dramatic spikes but the picture is still blurry.
Several countries around the globe are also exerting a cautious technique in administering with the virus and annealing the daily life of their natives. Denmark, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Russia, Sweden, New Zealand, Several states of America, and China got the most detrimental hit by COVID-19 chose to ease lockdowns on strict SOPs. Social distancing, wearing a mask, and disinfecting yourself is the only vaccine we have for now. Advisory to wear a face mask would be part of the “new normality”. It is already required on public transport, shopping malls, and anywhere especially where there is less social distancing. As government and health authorities around the world look into ways to cautiously loosen pandemic curtailment, several countries that had already recommenced are shutting down again after sudden surge in the spread of infections. In-line with rules agreed by houses of worship across Germany, there was no singing to halt the spread of the virus through droplets from the mouth of an infected person. Japan’s situation is peculiarly challenging because it eased up its curtailments too early and then had to obtrude an emergency to stem additional outbreaks.
Coming to find out the positives from pandemic life, we all will definitely miss the quality time spent with the family, everyone will go back to their places, family members will be separated from each other. We had time to breathe, focus more on selves, thinking about the things that make us happy. Everybody will be Missing the feeling of ITS ok not to do anything, not to be productive, we are living and we are breathing and that’s totally enough. The community spirit that we witnessed here in Pakistan was unmatchable; everyone came out to help the needy, working voluntarily in the pandemic, because doing small things ina great way can make a huge difference. A pollution-free world when carbon emissions were cut by a quarter. Clearer waterways have also been spotted across the world. Data showed that people were getting nights of better sleeping and eating routine, the sleep quality got improved. The world has transformed, a more functionally digital world, COVID acted as a catalyst to digitalization that helped people to survive to work from home, internet facilities got better and we definitely got to see the world with a different perspective.
After the pandemic, health care facilities, and the attitude of people towards them are definitely going to change. People have seen how dedicated our medical crews are around the country. So many people used to take them for granted, they took such amazing care of the population that it’s unforgettable now.
May the world heal soon!
