Islamabad Thursday, 4th June 2020. (GNP): On Wednesday, Foreign Minister of Jordan Ayman Safadi tweeted about the trilateral conference held between Cyprus and Greece. They discussed their relations with each other, regional issues, development in the Mediterranean, Libya, and Syria. Safadi said the will increase economic partnerships and initiatives.
On the other hand, Greece’s Foreign Minister reiterated its support for IRINI to implement embargo as well as the UN’s Mediterranean efforts.IRINI is the European Union naval force Mediterranean operation launched on March 31, 2020. Its purpose is to enforce the UN’s arms embargo to Libya.
They also discussed political development in Libya. They examined Syria’s situation and reiterated its support for the efforts of UN’S Secretary General’s Special Envoy to gain a political solution
