Syedaal Khan lauds Wazir-e-Azam Apna Ghar Program

Islamabad (GNP): Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, Syedaal Khan, held an important meeting with the Secretary of Housing and Works to discuss housing sector requirements in the Federal Capital as well as across the country, with particular focus on public welfare housing projects and timely completion of ongoing schemes.

During the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Senate emphasized that the provision of affordable housing remains one of the most important public needs and directed that practical measures be taken to facilitate ordinary citizens in obtaining homes at the earliest possible stage. He particularly stressed expediting the allotment process under the “Wazir e Azam Apna Ghar Program” so that deserving and middle-income families may benefit without unnecessary delay.

Syedaal Khan stated that housing is a basic necessity and every possible effort must be made to ensure transparency, efficiency, and merit in the allotment of residential units. He underlined that delays in possession and completion of projects create hardships for the common people who invest their lifelong savings in hopes of owning a home.

The Deputy Chairman of the Senate also stressed the need for the timely completion of all ongoing housing projects and directed the concerned authorities to remove administrative bottlenecks hindering progress. He observed that accelerated completion of housing schemes would not only address residential needs but also contribute positively to economic activity and employment generation.

Syedaal Khan reiterated that the government remains committed to safeguarding the interests of the people and ensuring that housing projects are completed in a transparent, people-friendly, and efficient manner.
