Stuart Broad returns to England squad for first Ashes Test

Birmingham, 14 July, 2023 (GNP): England cricket team’s captain Ben Stokes has named Stuart Broad in his team for the first Ashes Test against Australia at Edgbaston on Friday.

Broad, who has taken 582 wickets in 162 Tests, was dropped for the third and final Test against New Zealand in March. However, he has been in good form for Nottinghamshire in County Championship cricket, taking 21 wickets in his last three matches.
