Faisalabad (GNP): Standard Chartered Pakistan and the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) held a soft launch event in Faisalabad to formally introduce FCCI Expo 2026, drawing a gathering of the city’s leading business figures, industrialists, and entrepreneurs.
Standard Chartered is serving as Title Sponsor for the exhibition, which is set to run from July 24 to 26, 2026, at the Lahore Expo Centre. The Faisalabad launch event served to introduce the upcoming Expo and underscore its role in fostering business connections and investment prospects across the country.
Around 150 guests from Faisalabad’s business circles attended the launch, using the occasion to discuss the opportunities and challenges currently facing Pakistan’s industrial and commercial sectors.
Saadya Riaz, Head of Wealth and Retail Banking at Standard Chartered Pakistan, said the country’s economic advancement depends heavily on the success of its entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises. She noted that building platforms which link businesses to scalable growth opportunities plays a key role in unlocking Pakistan’s broader economic potential, describing FCCI Expo 2026 as an important step in that direction. She added that the bank was glad to support an initiative that reflects the drive and energy within Pakistan’s business community, bringing together private-sector players to highlight innovation and pursue new growth avenues.
Standard Chartered said it remains focused on supporting Pakistan’s economic development by helping local businesses grow and using its global network to connect them with international opportunities.
The Expo itself is positioned as a major entry point into Pakistan’s industrial sector, bringing manufacturers, exporters, and innovators together on a single platform in Lahore. Organizers describe the event as designed to boost business exposure, facilitate global networking, and encourage the formation of valuable industrial partnerships.
FCCI Expo 2026 will showcase the breadth of Faisalabad’s economic sectors, featuring dedicated areas for textiles and IT alongside specialized zones covering real estate and large-scale industrial projects. The exhibition takes place at the Lahore Expo Centre from July 24 to 26, 2026.
