Islamabad (GNP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the Command and Staff College, Quetta, where he addressed faculty members and student officers, commending the professionalism, operational preparedness, and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces in safeguarding national sovereignty and ensuring regional peace and stability.
He honored the Shuhada and recognized the extraordinary devotion of the armed forces in protecting the nation.
Referring to Marka-e-Haq, the Prime Minister lauded the historic victory of the Pakistan Armed Forces under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
He highlighted Pakistan’s responsible conduct and measured escalation control in response to India’s unprovoked aggression, stating that Pakistan’s mature, prudent, and just stance earned acknowledgment from the international community.
Moreover, Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm resolve to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity against any misadventure at all costs.
The Prime Minister stated that Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq is ongoing with full resolve to protect the lives and property of innocent citizens from Afghan Taliban-backed terrorist proxies, and to neutralize terrorist hideouts and support infrastructure.
PM Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.
Acknowledging the presence of students from friendly nations, the Prime Minister underscored the significance of military diplomacy and cooperation, highlighting Pakistan’s growing role as a Net Regional Stabiliser contributing to peace, stability, and progress in the regf chaired a meeting of the Provincial Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, where he directed the deployment of Frontier Corps in Balochistan’s Rakhshan Division to establish a dedicated security corridor for the protection of the province’s mineral resources.

The corridor will comprise additional Frontier Corps wings, security check posts along highways, surveillance grids, and border posts.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan is abundantly rich in natural resources, particularly minerals, and that maintaining a secure environment in Balochistan is essential to sustaining the confidence of both local and international companies operating in the mineral sector.
PM Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the armed forces for their continued efforts in counter-terrorism operations across Balochistan and the country.
