It is confirmed by Ukraine’s sole grid operating company, Ukrenegro, that the full restoration may take more time due to heavy damage done by Russian drones and missile attacks on Friday morning.

The Ukrainian Defence Minister Yuriy Sak told media, that Russian is deliberately and intentionally attacking the power supply lines of Ukraine which makes its restoration and repair difficult for them.

On Friday’s morning missiles attack, only 40 missiles were fired on the capital city, Kyiv. Among these 37 were shot down by the air defense system of Ukraine.

This is the biggest missile barrage on Ukraine since the Russian invasion started in last February.
