Islamabad, 21 January 2023 (GNP): According to Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE), the Pakistani rupee dropped by Rps 0.52 (0.23%) to a three and half-month low at Rs229.67 against the US dollar in the interbank market.

Over the span of the past five weeks, the Pakistani rupee has depreciated in value consecutively every day however the speed was slower than the latest session of three and a half months. The currency has overall devalued by 5.2% (Rps11.88) in the past three months.
