ISLAMABAD (GNP): Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Türkiye, who together form the R4 Group, have strongly condemned the continuing Houthi militia attacks on Saudi Arabia, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a joint statement, the Group described the attacks as a blatant breach of international law and of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It said they directly endanger the security, stability and safety of civilians, amount to a dangerous escalation, and cannot be justified or tolerated on any grounds.
The four countries restated their solidarity with Saudi Arabia. They backed all lawful steps the Kingdom takes to counter, deter and prevent such attacks, in defence of its security, sovereignty and territory and to protect those living there, in line with the UN Charter and international law.
The Group said the Houthi militia bears full responsibility for the consequences of the attacks and for any fallout that threatens regional and international peace and security. It called for the attacks to stop immediately and without conditions.
