PM, Iranian envoy discuss regional situation and peace efforts

 Islamabad (GNP) :-  Reza Amiri Moghadam, Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan, called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s Office to discuss the ongoing US-Iran tensions, the broader regional situation, and prospects for dialogue. According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Ishaq Dar and the premier’s adviser Tariq Fatemi were also present during the meeting.

The prime minister urged the Iranian envoy to engage in the next round of Iran-US talks, stressing continued diplomacy to ease tensions.

Prime Minister Shehbaz stressed that constructive dialogue remains the most viable path toward regional stability and urged Iran to play an active role in the second round of talks.

Iranian ambassador, appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives in facilitating dialogue and promoting a peaceful resolution to the dispute. He also acknowledged Islamabad’s willingness to host negotiations between the two sides.

Prime minister conveyed his good wishes to Mojtaba Khamenei, reflecting Pakistan’s intent to maintain constructive and cooperative relations with Iran’s leadership.
