Pak, Saudi, Türkiye, and Egypt FMs Hold Joint Meeting with President El-Sisi

Cairo, Egypt (GNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar joined his counterparts, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Hakan Fidan of Türkiye, and Dr. Badr Abdelatty of Egypt, for a joint meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo.

During the meeting, DPM Dar passed on greetings and goodwill from President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir to President El-Sisi, and underlined Pakistan’s dedication to deepening its longstanding and wide-ranging ties with Egypt.

He noted the positive energy generated by recent high-level contacts between the two countries, which have helped advance bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors. He also welcomed President El-Sisi’s acceptance of Prime Minister Sharif’s invitation to visit Pakistan, and expressed hope that leadership visits in both directions could be arranged as soon as schedules allow.

The gathering gave all sides an opportunity to exchange perspectives on regional and international developments, with particular focus on the shifting situation in the Middle East and the shared importance of pursuing peace, stability, dialogue, and diplomatic solutions across the region.

President El-Sisi returned the warm sentiments conveyed from Pakistan’s leadership. He commended Pakistan’s constructive and responsible contribution to promoting dialogue, easing tensions, and encouraging diplomatic engagement in the region, and specifically recognized the efforts of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, and the Chief of Army Staff in support of regional peace and stability.

He also expressed hope that the current round of negotiations and efforts underway would lay the groundwork for durable peace, security, and prosperity across the broader region.

The meeting took place in a warm and collegial atmosphere, underscoring the close ties and mutual respect that bind the participating nations.
