Kallar Kahar, 20 February 2023 (GNP): On Sunday night, a bus near Kallar Kahar in Chakwal collapsed, leaving 14 passengers dead and 65 injured.
The failure of the bus’s brakes, according to a Motorways Police official, caused the collision. The bus was transporting people to a wedding celebration from Islamabad to Lahore.
Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, has expressed his profound sadness and grief at the accident’s loss of valuable lives.

He commanded the relevant authorities to offer the finest medical care possible to the injured and prayed for the souls of those who had died in the accident.
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has instructed the rescue team to help the injured in every way they can in the meanwhile.
Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman have expressed regret and sadness over the loss of valuable souls in the Kallar Kahar bus disaster.

Both offered their condolences to the families of the deceased in separate statements and hoped for the injured to make a speedy recovery.
In order to give the injured the best care possible, interim chief minister Mohsin Naqvi requested a report from the police and the administration.
