IUBS Welcomes NBEAC 2026 Conference Delegates

Islamabad (GNP): Iqra University Business School (IUBS), H-9 Campus, proudly hosted the Pre-Conference Welcome Dinner for the 13th NBEAC Deans & Directors Conference 2026, welcoming distinguished deans, directors, professors, researchers, and academic leaders from business schools across Pakistan.

On the occasion, Dr. Muhammad Azam, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, Iqra University, extended a warm welcome to all conference participants and guests.

Dr. Azam also expressed gratitude to the National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) for organizing the conference and conveyed his best wishes for productive deliberations and meaningful outcomes during the two-day event being held at the Islamabad.

The welcome dinner marked the official commencement of conference activities ahead of the conference theme, “Business Schools in the AI Era,” which focuses on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in business education, research, leadership, and workforce development.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Etazaz Ahmed, Iqra University Islamabad Campus, emphasized the importance of collaboration among higher education institutions in preparing future-ready graduates and strengthening the contribution of business schools to innovation and national development.

A video presentation showcasing Iqra University’s achievements, academic excellence, and the facilities of the H-9 Campus was screened for the participants. As a gesture of appreciation, commemorative shields were presented to distinguished guests, including Dr. Nukhez Sarwar (Chairperson, NBEAC), Dr. Farooq Cheema (Vice Chairperson, NBEAC), Dr. Zaki Rashdi, and Sania Tufail, in recognition of their contributions to business education and their valued participation in the conference.

The ceremony reflected the university’s commitment to recognizing academic leadership and promoting meaningful engagement among business education professionals from across Pakistan.

Guests were subsequently given a guided tour of the H-9 Campus, including its academic and learning facilities, followed by a networking dinner that encouraged discussions on accreditation, research collaboration, innovation, and the future of business education in Pakistan.

The university expressed its sincere appreciation to NBEAC for the opportunity to host the welcome dinner and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that advance higher education, strengthen industry-academia collaboration, and prepare future business leaders for the age of Artificial Intelligence.
