Islamabad (GNP): Pakistan EPS (E9) Center (Director Jeongbang Park) is actively encouraging Pakistani workers, who have returned home after completing their employment in Korea under the Employment Permit System (E-9), to claim their “Dormant Insurance” (Departure Guarantee and Return Cost Insurance).
Dormant Insurance: This refers to insurance benefits that have remained unclaimed for more than three years after the eligibility date, meaning the legal statute of limitations has expired. These funds, originally intended as severance pay and return airfare, are currently being held by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRDK).
Many eligible individuals have yet to claim these funds, and reaching them individually has proven difficult due to outdated or incorrect contact information. To address this, the EPS Center, in collaboration with the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), has published the list of eligible workers on the official OEC website.

Returned workers can verify their eligibility on the OEC website. Those listed should follow the online instructions, prepare the required documents, and submit their applications to the Pakistan EPS Center via registered mail.
Furthermore, workers who have recently returned without claiming their insurance can apply directly to Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance or seek assistance by submitting an application to the Pakistan EPS Center.
