1 April 2020 (GNP) : According to the embassy of Azerbaijan in Pakistan, Turkey has called the holding of elections by Armenia in the occupied region of Nagorno-Karabakh “violation of international law”.
Nagorno-Karabakh was illegally occupied by Armenia, and its attempts to hold elections on Tuesday are to “unilaterally legitimize the current unlawful situation” said in a statement by Turkish Foreign Minister.
The minter further stated that the illegitimate election threatens the sovereignty of Turkey and disrupts the territorial integrity of the country. Turkey will continue to support in finding a just and permanent solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. (GNP)
