Beijing, 2 October 2021 (TDI/GNP): Chinese embassies across the globe have organized events to mark the 72nd anniversary of China’s founding. During this time, Chinese diplomats and foreign officials sought to deepen their cooperation.
Director-General of Asia Pacific Affairs at Ethiopia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Molalign Asfaw, stated at the event that the 72nd anniversary of the PRC was a testament to the will and determination of the Chinese people and government in determining their own future. Asfaw praised China for its complete support of Ethiopia’s developmental aspirations and stated that East African country is open to continuing cooperation with China in areas of mutually beneficial.
Xiong Bo, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam, on Thursday in the course of an online reception expressed his joy at the greetings extended to all Vietnamese compatriots.
Nguyen Hong Dien, a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade, said that 2021 was an important year for the PRC. Dien also expressed his desire that Vietnam and China’s extensive strategic cooperative coalition would continue.
On Tuesday’s online reception, Zhao Zhiyuan, Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, stated that “China would cooperate closely with Ethiopia and outreach new heights within the sweeping strategic partnership, bringing greater tangible profits to the states and making greater contributions towards peace, stability, and prosperity all over the world.”
Qin Gang, China Ambassador to America, on Tuesday said that the China-U.S. relations should immediately be restored to stable development whereas, Craig Allen, President of US-China Business Council said that the US Business community looks forward to bolstering their partnership with China.
Cyprus President, Nicos Anastasiades recently sent his congratulations to the PRC for their 72nd anniversary and expressed his gratitude to China and Cyprus for their mutual trust, their fruitful cooperation that is marked by friendship and principled support.
Officials from Somalia thanked China for their historic friendship at an online reception held in Somalia by the Chinese Embassy.
Osman Abokor Dubbe, minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, expressed his gratitude and praised China for its achievements in space, technology, and infrastructure.
Ramon Martinez, Panama’s Minister of Commerce and Industries sent a recorded message to the Chinese community in Panama, which was shown during a virtual gala. Martinez expressed gratitude on the 72nd anniversary of PRC to the Chinese community in China and expressed hope that this community could continue to propel Panama’s economy forward, especially in light of the pandemic.
During an online reception, Zheng Zeguang, Chinese Ambassador to Britain, stated that China has seen a remarkable transformation over the past 72-years and that China continues to forge ahead with greater confidence. The event was also attended by Amanda Milling, Minister of Asia at Britain’s Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office, business leaders, and scholars.
Zheng expressed the hope that China and Britain will cooperate to achieve a better understanding of each other’s development, and will respect and show the courage and determination of taking on their respective responsibilities.
