26 March 2020 (GNP): Scholars, human rights activists, reporters, lawyers having substantial experience about religious movements and having an academic background about Shincheonji, have issued a comprehensive white paper on the false news about Shincheonji and its involvement in the coronavirus in South Korea. The group of scholars and leaders have interviewed the member of the Shincheonji and Korean scholars and also analyze the document available about Shincheonji. The White Paper was prepared with the help of international organizations, the media, and other concerned parties to understand the situation. It has also cleared it has also that these scholars, human rights activities, reporters and lawyers are the member of Shincheonji, and nor do they have to adhere to its theology. They are also of the view that theological criticism should not be confused with the discrimination or violation of human rights. (GNP)
