16th April 2020 (GNP): The prime minister of Japan, Abe after a video conference summit with ASEAN ASEAN and Japan, China, and the Republic of Korea stated that Japan is in a state of emergency and is working towards containing the spread of the infection.
Japan’s president further showed the necessity of ASEAN, and Asia working together and cooperating in the region to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. In the conference, he had mentioned sharing the information and knowledge that is available in each country in a free and transparent way. The virus doesn’t see national boundaries and should be battled against through firm corporation including the formation of an ASEAN Center for infectious diseases
