Elon Musk hires researchers to develop own Chatbot

With ChatGPT giving tough time to Google and other search engines, Elon Musk wants to grab the opportunity to develop a chatbot that will rival ChatGPT.

New York, 2 March 2023 (GNP): According to sources having direct links to the project, there are claims that Elon Musk recently approached AI researchers about establishing a new research centre to create a rival chatbot to ChatGPT which is owned by OpenAi.

The resources also stated that Igor Babuschkin, a researcher who just departed Alphabet’s DeepMind AI division, has been sought after by SpaceX and Tesla‘s founder and CEO, Elon Musk. The news comes after ChatGPT, a text based chatbot developed by OpenAi that can create prose, poetry, or even computer code when instructed, attracted a lot of interest in the US.
