Afghan and Pakistani sisters and brothers are guests of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Many of the loved ones are currently planning to return to their home country and the border crossings of Sistan and Baluchistan province are one of the centers of their passage to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
All Pakistani and Afghan nationals seeking to leave Iran are screened and monitored for both coronavirus and other communicable diseases and are provided with necessary medical and health care if needed.
These services are provided to both statutory and unauthorized persons who enter the country, but those who enter with identification documents also receive a health certificate.
