Growing of large number of plants in nurseries, PHA self-sufficient in availability of plants,

Rawalpindi: Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi is actively working to make the city green, beautiful and promote tree plantation. Along with working on various beautification projects across the city, in the light of special instructions of DG PHA Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, PHA is also ensuring the growth and care of various types of flowers and plants in its nurseries, so that self-sufficiency in the growth and availability of plants is ensured and the city can be helped in making it green.

PHA Rawalpindi is conducting daily maintenance in its nurseries. The foundation is ensuring the growth of many types of plants by using different types of seeds in a wonderful way. These plants include many other types of plants including shade trees. Good plant breeds are also being produced by planting seeds, which are now proving to be helpful in increasing the beauty of the city and promoting a green environment. With this process, PHA will be able to maintain self-sufficiency in the availability of plants.
Plants are also being grown through air layering. This process is called tying a bundle in common language, through which a bundle is tied to the branch of the plant, from which its roots emerge and after completing the growth process, the plant becomes ready for use.
The plants produced in the nurseries are planted in different areas of Rawalpindi city, which has increased the beauty of the city and is promoting a green environment.
DG PHA Ahmed Hassan Ranjha said that workers in the nurseries of PHA Rawalpindi are taking care of the flowers and plants and The breeding process and horticulture work are being carried out with great skill. The nurseries fulfill the need for planting plants in the city’s parks and green belts. The PHA has become self-sufficient in terms of availability of plants. He said that Rawalpindi city will be made green according to the vision of the Punjab government.
