Senate Chairman’s Visit Boosts Pakistan’s Parliamentary Diplomacy

Chairman Senate Arrives in Geneva to Attend Global Speakers Conference

Geneva: — Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has arrived in Geneva, leading a high-level parliamentary delegation to participate in the Global Speakers Conference. The conference, scheduled from 29th to 31st July 2025, will focus on key global themes such as parliamentary cooperation, peace and justice, and international relations.

The parliamentary delegation includes Senator Mir Dostain Domki and Chairman Senate’s Advisor Misbah Khar. The delegation was warmly received at Geneva Airport by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Bilal Ahmed.

During the conference, Chairman Senate is expected to hold important bilateral meetings with Speakers and parliamentary leaders from various countries. Discussions will focus on enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation, safeguarding democratic values, and formulating effective strategies to tackle shared global challenges. This visit marks a significant step in strengthening Pakistan’s parliamentary diplomacy and global representation.
