Islamabad :- The Senate Standing Committee on Defence Production convened under the chairmanship of Senator Mohammad Abdul Qadir to review the operational status and future requirements of several national defence industry institutions.
The meeting was attended by Senators Jan Muhammad, Dost Ali Jeesar, Aon Abbas and Senator Dr. Afnan Ullah Khan participating as a special invitee. Senator Bilal Ahmed Khan, Member Committee joined the meeting proceedings over online zoom link.
The Committee was briefed about the Ministry of Defence Production, Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works, Pakistan Ordinance Factory and National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC).
