BingX EU Wins MiCAR Licence to Offer Crypto Across Europe

Vienna (GNP): BingX EU, operated by MEGE zweite GmbH, has secured a licence under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) from Austria’s Financial Market Authority (FMA). The approval allows the platform to offer regulated crypto services across the 29 countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), subject to ongoing passporting arrangements.

The company describes the authorisation as a significant milestone in its European expansion. It gives users across the EEA access to digital asset services under a single regulatory framework built on transparency, security and investor protection.

BingX EU says the licence reflects its long-term commitment to responsible growth in Europe. As digital assets become more closely tied to the financial system, the company argues that regulatory clarity strengthens user confidence and supports institutional participation.

Through its regulated European entity, BingX EU plans to provide compliant services for both retail and institutional users. The company is headquartered in Vienna and holds its authorisation as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP). Its services include broker offerings such as crypto custody and exchange.

The next step is the launch itself. BingX EU says it will keep working closely with the FMA and other European regulators as it prepares to roll out its regulated services across the EEA.

BingX EU is part of the wider BingX group, founded in 2018, which says it serves more than 40 million users worldwide. The group has been Principal Partner of Chelsea FC since 2024 and became Official Team Partner of Scuderia Ferrari HP in 2026.

BingX EU Chief Executive Officer Daniel Lai said, “Operating under MiCAR will allow us to deliver our services under a clear regulatory framework.”
