Islamabad (GNP): The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), responding to media reports on the national team’s participation in the World Tenpin Bowling Championship, has clarified that National Sports Federations are empowered to generate their own funds for operational needs.
Clause 11 of the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation’s (PTBF) Constitution allows it to raise funds.
PSB grants are subject to availability of funds and, under Regulation 12(10) of the Sports Funding and Utilization Regulations, 2025, cannot be claimed as a matter of right.
The Board said PTBF was given Rs1 million in July 2026.
