Pakistan Presents AI Industry at AI Everything Global

ABU DHABI (GNP): Pakistan is exhibiting its expanding strengths in artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies at AI Everything Global 2026, a major regional public-private AI event that has drawn over 500 exhibitors and 150 investors from 70 countries.

Five leading Pakistani technology firms are taking part, offering AI-driven solutions and services in areas such as data intelligence, surveillance, sales and sovereign AI. The pavilion has been set up under the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).

Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, Pakistan’s envoy to the UAE, opened the pavilion and met the participating companies. He stressed that Pakistan’s tech sector should take an active part in the fast-changing global AI landscape.

The ambassador said Pakistan must invest in developing AI talent, especially by giving young people advanced skills in AI, coding and digital technologies. A workforce prepared for the future, he said, will be vital to Pakistan’s competitiveness and to helping its companies seize opportunities in the global digital economy.

Pakistan’s presence at the event signals its growing international technology footprint and gives its companies a valuable platform to build strategic partnerships, meet global industry figures and investors, and look for new business and investment openings in the AI ecosystem.

The Commercial Section of Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in the UAE, led by Trade and Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan, is facilitating the participation in close coordination with PSEB and the Ministry of IT (MoIT). Pakistani delegates are also holding talks with international stakeholders and industry leaders on AI innovation, digital transformation and potential collaboration.
