
Courtesy Call by Deputy Head of Mission of Malaysia to the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme
Islamabad : Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), at the Prime Minister’s Office. Dr. Muhammad Ali Malik, Deputy Secretary, was also present during the meeting.
During the discussion, Syafik conveyed Malaysia’s keen interest in strengthening engagement and collaboration between the High Commission and the PMYP. He underscored the importance of fostering cultural exchange and enhancing people-to-people connections, particularly among the youth of both nations.
Mr. Syafik further expressed Malaysia’s readiness to share its best practices and experiences in the field of youth management and coordination. He emphasized that Malaysia places high value on empowering youth and views bilateral cooperation in this area as an important avenue for mutual development and regional harmony.
Both sides welcomed the initiative and discussed potential areas of collaboration that would benefit youth development and cultural understanding between Malaysia and Pakistan.
