Pakistan advancing technology-driven economic growth, Consul General

Pakistan-U.S. Tech Investment Conference 2025 Held in New York to Forge Cross-Border Innovation Partnerships

New York :   The Consulate General of Pakistan in New York, in collaboration with TechDestination Pakistan and OPEN Global, successfully hosted the Pakistan-U.S. Tech Investment Conference 2025 at the Kimmel Center, New York University. The event was organized to foster strategic linkages between Pakistan’s fast-evolving tech ecosystem and the U.S. venture capital, innovation, and diaspora communities.

Consul General Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai underscored the Government of Pakistan’s efforts to promote technology-led economic growth and highlighted the country’s dynamic startup landscape, skilled workforce, and growing appeal as a global outsourcing destination. He reaffirmed the Consulate’s commitment to facilitating bilateral business collaboration and enhancing Pakistan’s innovation footprint internationally.

More than 25 leading Pakistani tech companies participated in the conference, representing sectors such as SaaS, Artificial Intelligence, Fintech, Health-tech, Cybersecurity, Cloud Solutions, and Data Analytics whose products ranged from enterprise solutions and AI platforms to health-tech devices and blockchain applications.

The day-long program featured a dynamic lineup of sessions, including remarks by the leadership of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), who outlined Pakistan’s digital transformation strategy and global outreach efforts. Panel discussions and fireside chats brought together Pakistani-American entrepreneurs and U.S.-based corporate leaders to explore collaboration opportunities. Throughout the day, selected Pakistani tech companies delivered concise, high-impact presentations showcasing their products and services. Dedicated networking segments further facilitated meaningful engagement between startups, investors, and potential business partners.

The conference marked a significant step forward in strengthening Pakistan-U.S. technology ties, enhancing the visibility of Pakistani innovation, and attracting investment and strategic partnerships for Pakistan’s IT sector.
