Islamabad : Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), in collaboration with TikTok and Shaoor Foundation for Education and Awareness (SFEA), organized a two-day Training of Trainers (ToT) Program on Safe and Responsible use of Social Media.
The program aimed to enhance digital awareness and equip participants with practical skills to address online risks such as fraud, hacking, impersonation, privacy concerns, and misinformation. Representatives from Islamabad, Quetta, Sukkur, Lahore, Karachi, Swabi, Mardan, and Peshawar participated in the training.
Experts from PTA and partner organizations conducted interactive sessions on cyber hygiene, child online protection, platform safety tools, reporting mechanisms, and responsible digital citizenship.
Dr. Khawar Siddique Khokhar, Member Compliance & Enforcement, PTA, emphasized the importance of collective efforts in promoting safe and responsible social media use. PTA reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a secure and responsible digital environment across Pakistan.
