Lahore : Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif took notice of a girl injured by kite string in Rawalpindi, and sought a report from Commissione Rawalpindi in the incident. She said that Basant will only be celebrated in Lahore. The ban on kite flying remains in effect across the province. She urged upon thecpeople not to turn a festive occasion into a bloody one by using banned kite strings.
