
Islamabad : Dr. A. Q. Khan School & College marked World Education Day with enthusiasm and dignity, highlighted by the presence of Farah Naz Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, as Chief Guest.
She was warmly received by Brigadier (Retd.) Dr. Muhammad Hanif, S.I. (M), Principal of the institution, who briefed her on the school’s academic vision, achievements, and challenges in delivering inclusive and quality education.
Addressing principals, faculty members, and students, Farah Naz Akbar emphasised the pivotal role of education in national development, describing students as the nation’s most valuable asset. She reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring education as a fundamental right and strengthening collaboration with stakeholders to promote equitable access to quality learning.

Commending the institution’s role in nurturing academic excellence and discipline, she encouraged students to pursue knowledge with dedication, integrity, and innovation.
The visit concluded with a shared resolve to enhance cooperation between the Ministry and educational institutions for the empowerment of youth and advancement of Pakistan’s education sector.
