Islamabad : Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in his message on the occasion of Shab-e-Meraj, extended heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah and said that Shab-e-Meraj is a great and spiritually significant miracle in the blessed life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), encompassing a comprehensive message of faith, worship, patience, and obedience to Allah Almighty. He said that this sacred night stands as a clear and luminous manifestation of Allah Almighty’s boundless power and the elevated and exalted status of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ).
NA Speaker said that Shab-e-Meraj marks the blessed night when Allah Almighty took His beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) from Masjid-e-Haram to Masjid-e-Aqsa and thereafter to the Arsh-e-Ilahi (Divine Throne). He said that it was among the greatest miracles of Allah Almighty that the Seal of the Prophets, Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ), was taken on a journey through the seven heavens and granted divine experiences within the shortest span of time.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that on this sacred occasion, the gift of Salah was bestowed upon the Muslim Ummah, which serves as a source of spiritual elevation and closeness to Allah for believers. He emphasized that strict observance of prayers, along with patience, tolerance, forbearance, and adherence to high moral values in practical life, is essential for the establishment of a just, peaceful, and welfare-oriented society.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Shab-e-Meraj conveys the profound lesson that divine assistance and success surely follow hardships and trials. He said that this miraculous event occurred during a particularly difficult period in the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), when he was enduring the profound grief of losing his devoted wife, Hazrat Khadijah (RA), and his compassionate uncle, Hazrat Abu Talib. This, he said, signifies the divine promise that ease follows every hardship.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq appealed to the nation to offer special prayers on this blessed night for the oppressed Muslim brethren of Palestine, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. He urged the international community to play its due role in the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the right to self-determination of the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and prayed for their freedom and restoration of fundamental rights.
Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed that Allah Almighty, by the blessings of this sacred night, may grant Pakistan peace, stability, and prosperity, and relieve the Muslim Ummah of all challenges and hardships.
