
Manila :- Minister of State for Health, Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmed, represented Pakistan at the 39th Stop TB Partnership Board Meeting held in Manila, the Philippines.
Dr. Malik participated as a speaker in two key sessions on The TB situation and Sustainable TB Financing Models and Ending TB in Asia and the Pacific: Innovations, Partnerships, and Ambition highlighting Pakistan’s progress in innovation, political commitment, and regional collaboration.

The Minister also appreciated the leadership of Lucica Ditiu, Executive Director of the Stop TB Partnership, for her tireless efforts in driving the global movement to end TB.
On the sidelines, the Minister held productive discussions with delegations from the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada, reaffirming partnerships for stronger TB and health systems.
The Minister was accompanied by Additional Secretary Health Laeeq Ahmed, Deputy National Coordinator TB Dr. Abdul Wali Khan, and supported by CEO Dopasi Foundation Kinz ul Eman and Advisor Dr. Karam Shah.

Ministers from the Philippines, Indonesia, Nigeria, Tajikistan, and representatives of the Africa CDC also joined this important global dialogue on accelerating progress toward ending TB by 2030.
