
Islamabad, – The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan, successfully organized a solemn event to commemorate Kashmir Black Day.
The event featured a special puppet show, photo exhibition, and documentary screening at the PNCA Auditorium. The activities aimed to raise awareness about the Kashmir issue and highlight the struggles and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people.
- Special Puppet Show:
- A thought-provoking puppet performance portrayed the daily hardships, resilience, and spirit of the Kashmiri people, conveying a powerful message of hope and endurance through artistic storytelling.
- Photo Exhibition: The powerful photo exhibition drew significant attention as it vividly depicted the brutality and human rights violations by Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Through striking visuals, the exhibition contrasted the natural beauty of Kashmir with the pain and suffering of its people, leaving a profound emotional impact on visitors.
- Documentary Screening:
- A specially curated documentary shed light on the historical background of the Kashmir dispute and the continuing human rights violations in IIOJK. The screening served as an eye-opener, encouraging reflection and awareness among the attendees.
- Special Walk: PNCA joined the walk to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir.Officials from PNCA, the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, students, artists, and civil society members joined a Solidarity Walk to express unity and support for the Kashmiri people’s right to freedom and self-determination.
The event served as a platform for meaningful dialogue and reflection on the Kashmir issue, fostering a sense of unity and solidarity among participants.
