Finance Minister Meets Special Envoy to Chief Adviser of Bangladesh; Underscores Private Sector–Led Growth and Regional Cooperation

Washington D.C :-  Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb, met with Lutfey Y. Siddiqi, Special Envoy to the Hon’ble Chief Adviser of Bangladesh, in Washington D.C.

The Minister recalled the visit of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister to Dhaka in August 2025 and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to fostering closer regional economic cooperation. Both sides agreed that the information technology sector is a key driver of economic transformation, with strong potential to generate quality employment opportunities for young graduates. The Minister emphasized the importance of continued knowledge-sharing and capacity-building between the two countries to strengthen regional development efforts.
